Wave Mod
on: March 26, 2013, 06:14:45 AM
This is my first real post and my first real mod.  I've had my Leatherman Wave for the past year and I like it a lot.  I wanted to make a few modifications to get rid of things I didn't need (the saw) and add something I want (awl and replaceable wire cutters) so after some research I got a Leatherman Rebar and found scissors off of a Leatherman Wingman. Here is the result of my mod. Had do do a little bit of sanding and filing to get everything to work and fit correctly, but I'm really happy with it.

I ment to get a picture of it closed, sorry.  It does close up perfectly.  It took some time and filing to get it to do that.  You need to file the awl and a bevel needs to be put on the side of the large screwdriver.
