Spartan 2012 LE, anyone?
on: April 02, 2013, 09:24:08 PM
I saw two of these knives at a store, and I knew I had to buy one. I had to wait for around a month, but I managed to buy one  :D This is the most important SAK of my tiny collection (5 Vics, a Micra and 3 knockoffs) as for now. It  is exciting to know that you are holding a knife that is only the only one in the universe!

My blackberry's cam is too low-res to capture the serial number under the corkscrew , but it is
2012-101162.

Does anyone have one or more of these? If you do, could you write the serial code?  :D

Starting it off  :D

It is etched on the exposed steel side of the corkscrew(it is like a border between the awl and the corkscrew) I really wonder what your serial code is  ::)

But now I feel I have to check...

Well, it turns out I have #027556 :)

 I know right! It is such a pity that it comes exclusively(?) on a knife that I will never dare to use

Yes, that's right. I do have a couple of black ones though. And I seem to recall seeing the red ones for sale somewhere

I know I saw the red, orange-yellow and one more color of the same lanyard in the victorinox 2013 catalog...

Mine is serial # 010048.  Yes, it is cool to have this only number.
That drawing in the pamphlet of A Spartan Deconstructed ?  Done by one of the Forum members.
I like the way the Chronology is in eight languages.  Is that how you spell "eight?"
Weird language, English.  Half German, half French, and half everything else.
weird? wierd? wired?  "i before e except after c or when sounded like A as in neighbor and weigh and a few other weird words..."   Gimme Esperanto.

You mean the drawing that incorrectly shows a clip point blade?  :D

Um... yup.  The drawing was originally meant to be "generic" representing both Victorinox and Wenger - so the federal shield and clip small blade, as both companies have used at times.
An updated version was provided but not used.
