Hello from Singapore...
on: April 08, 2013, 06:15:36 PM
...But I am actually from New Zealand.

I have been a Leatherman user for 21 years...

...But I have just ordered a Swisstool and a One Hand Trekker.

I am still fond of Leatherman tools, but I have finally come to accept that they are really only built for right handers. So I am putting my trusty friends in the retirement draw, and am keenly waiting at the post box for my new tools. The information on this forum has been a great help.

Truth be told, I have been experimenting with alox for a few years, after I picked up an old standard issue Soldier in 2008. I was working in the Czech Republic, so I was in need of an excellent beer bottle opener.

Despite the relative lack of features, it made it into my pocket more than any other tool I own. I actually like how the minimalist tool count made me think a lot more about problem solving. And the cap lifter is second to none.

I am definitely a utilitarian user though so I am looking forward to putting the two most popular workhorse Victorinox tools through their paces.

Cheers!

Welcome!

just FYI nic, our antispam filter flagged your Singapore IP address as bad...

http://www.stopforumspam.com/search?q=203.117.37.237

You may want to try to get a different IP from your provider there if possible...
