Help with identification
on: May 07, 2013, 10:17:07 PM
So today I went to my local independent tool shop to buy a axe handle for my weekend car boot find. While there I had a look around as they also deal in second hand tools.  I had a look at the hand axes and found this little fella.  I am trying to identify the maker and model.  Any ideas?

I think it could be Gränsfors Bruks. That looks like a crown and a G. out of G.B.A.

That's what I was thinking but I cannot find anything on their site that looks like it.

And he arrives.  Cool I have always wanted one of their axes but the price new is scary. I have only had a quick play today as I was doing the handle on the other one after work.
For a small axe it seemed to equip itself vey well

Yes at that price I thought it would be rude to leave it in the shop.  Next time you are over here I will take you to the shop. It is a real rummage fest with the added bonus of rust!
