Go outdoors

Quick heads up if you have one of these near you.  They carry the spares for SAKS and sell them all for 47p each.  That includes the mini screwdrivers, pens, springs, split rings, tweezers and toothpicks.

Ps. Don't bother with the Sheffield one unless you want split rings or t and t.  I have already been.

That's a bugger. If you check on the web site (just search victorinox and then scroll down ) the offer is shown there too.  There is a shop near where I work that does scissor springs and most other things for 60p.  Mini screwdrivers are £1.50 though.

The pens are not 47 pence. Also you need to be a member with the discount card, so not such a good deal after all!

If you are in go outdoors also look in the fishing tackle area, they sometimes sell glow in the dark rubber squids for £1. The kids have them hanging around their rooms, never laughed so much for £1.

Membership is £5 but they always have decent deals on.They were doing Shimano rods for £16 last year, also a Shimano reel for £16. Always doing karrimor boots for around £25.So if they are local always worth popping in for bits. They won't be beaten on price. Also have taken boots back that split after 9 months & they replaced them free.

I am only going on what happened when I went into the Sheffield branch.  They have a box behind the counter which only has one bar code on the back.  In the box where all of the vics spares. Not many of each as I cleared them out of pens and mini screwdrivers.  I got 2 pens for 58s, 2 pens for 91s and 2 mini screwdrivers. Cost £2.82. I have since gone back and picked up some spare split rings as I pass it going to and from work.
Maybe they made a mistake, but I can only talk about my experience.
Yes you do need a discount card, but as said else where I always get my monies worth from mine and assumed anyone living near a Go Outdoors would already have one.  I am constantly in there as they will price match plus 10% amazon on saks.
