Knochen (Bone)

...is what this tool is called here in Germany.
It usually is included in Bicycle Repair kits and comes in different qualities from "dried Playdoo" to "actual metal, but still..."
I have not seen one on here, so i thought I´d share it.

I quite like the design myself, but i have yet to find one made out of decent quality steel.
And i, too must think of my first bikes when i handle one. Nice memories.

I have one of these, although I don't use it because my bike takes allen wrenches. I'll take a pic later.

Here's mine
It says
Patent Pending
Made in Germany
So if it's patent pending, does that mean it's old?

I have such a key manufacture of the USSR in 1970. Judging by the availability of ideas such keys must appear in the early 20th century Germany.
