Any love for the baker?

I should get a green one. That will balance my collection nicely.

I didn't look hard enough at them the first time through.

Do you carry one regularly?

I have one and they are nice, though I always considered them a bit of a gadget, rather than a proper tool, as for their purpose, supposedly for people who bake a lot, they should have come with a fixed blade.
I cannot imagine people going around with one in their pocket, just in case they need to slice pastry when they are away from home..
A fixed blade will also be easier to clean.

I always thought they were bakers knifes for opening flour sacks, not sure I would want to spend my nights getting dried dough out of the pivot :)

Not a baker myself but is there a huge advantage to the serrations when scoring the dough ?

It is supposed to be for decorating/cutting pastry.

I assume it will also cut rope /sacks etc well too.

They are excellent for these.
