What it means for UK users:
You can't directly access Imgur.com or view images hosted on it (often seen as purple boxes or error messages on sites like Steam).
The UK ICO is still pursuing its investigation and potential fines against Imgur's parent company, even with the block in place.
How to bypass the block:
Use a VPN: A Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows you to connect to a server outside the UK, masking your IP address and giving you access to Imgur as if you were in another country.
Proxy Services: Some users have found success with specific proxy services or browser extensions.
