Swiss Soldier 08--Is my saw a defect?

I just bought a Swiss Soldier 08 today. It is a good camping knife in its own right.

However, the saw concerned me...

The saw is made in such a way that when fully opened, the back of the saw makes a wide angle(around 170^o?) with the body of the knife. The saw also looks (more than)slightly bent to the back which might explain why the saw has this odd shape. Is this a defect or is this the way Vic's 111mm saw is? (It does not look odd in the handle.)

Mine are the same, so I think its intentional. Maybe to give your fingers more room when sawing? I have a folding camp saw that folds the same angle.

Mine too. Open the main blade, open the saw, goes about a cm past the main blade. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
