I have aquired a PST

that according to the PST Chronology project is from the mid to late eighties.
It has the small plier pivot, no hard wire notch,tm stamp, metric and inch ruler.
The Plier Pivot shows some play, the tool is used, but useable.
I´ll add pics later.
I bought it assuming i would receive a PST II which i wanted to harvest for it´s tools, especially the Scissors and Awl.
Now this one has no scissors. Being a Gerber Guy i cannot tell if i should leave this oldtimer alone or if it´s still available amass in good condition and no harm is done when i tear it apart.
What do you think? Should i leave it alone (in which case it would end up in the trade section, as I´m still looking for LM parts) or shall i tear it apart with no bad feelings?
