hey all, sorry to have been so absent recently, new baby dominates all things these days.  But in my downtime I was able to get all the GearPulls shipped.  I just wanted to touch base real quick to mention they are now available for sale via http://www.GambleMade.com  Also available is the FM1, a mini dangler attachment which will turn your P7 or DTS into a mini GearPull.

One more thing.  Check out the update below to see a pic of the Mokume GP I will be giving away to the winner of a photo-contest I'm hatching.

ok back to the baby zone.

here are some new Mini GearPulls Im working on.  These hang at 2.125" and are made from .093 grade 2 Ti.  A nice option for those who found the standard length too long.

I like those. And yes. The original ones might have been a bit too long for my taste. ;) Will you be making any SS ones in this size?

Lol, again with the stainless! ...You know you are the only person who has ever asked for it.  I don't want to say never but I can say not in the near future.

But for those interested in Titanium Mini GearPulls please visit my website and sign up to be notified when the next Kickstarter goes live....hopefully by march 23rd.  I'll be offering the "Mini-D" for presale.  Here is a teaser. ;)

to be notified visit http://www.GambleMade.com and stay tuned for a related Giveaway here on MT.org!

Can someone explain the benefit of using one of these?  I don't get it.

Is it you attach a lot of stuff to the holes and then use it like a giant pocket clip then if you need something you take out the whole pocket clip and unhook the 1 thing you need then use it and put it back?

Thanks for the question.  It really depends on the individual.  Some people just don't like digging in their pockets for their keys or whatever, and a dangler is a good solution because you can take stuff out of your pocket without putting your hand in.  Others would opt to carry just a single item like a pocket knife or flashlight.  Personally, I find it to be the fastest way to get at whatever you are carrying.

Also, for a lot of people a dangler makes carrying things more comfortable. If you have a lot of stuff in one pocket, it tends to "clump up" and get bulky, a dangler keeps (one of the) things nice and straight, and higher in your pocket, so it clumps up less, making it more comfortable.
