. From what I understand however, that Oatmeal chart is dead on, which is a shame since a good intelligent zombie movie could have been amazing. You'd think that post "The Walking Dead" studios would realize that people really will watch the crap out of a reasonably thoughtful drama with zombies in it.
That being said, if you ignore the title and divorce the movie from the book, it's really not a bad summer action flick. It's fun, and an amusing enough "munch popcorn and watch zombies and explosions" movie. I wouldn't say it "sucks" by any stretch. I can't help but feel that if they had changed the title, the reaction would be more positive.
