Gosh, that F1 looks like it could be a great cycling light. Only needs a Twofish bracket and wow!

Would have to say the one and only flashlight that I EDC every day would be the Leatherman Serac S2. It is small enough to fit into the Charge leather sheath, with an Exotac nanoStriker in the other elastic pocket. Of course also was carrying an MTO saw blade with my Charge TTi.

The Serac S2 was Julie's (Lady Leatherman) favorite light too. Uses an AAA battery, and is so light weight for EDC. The head and tail parts unscrew for super easy maintenance, and stuck batteries have never been an issue. Has a high and low setting, and a convenient clip that can also be used on a hat bill. Gold contacts was a plus IMHO. :tu:
Another great option is that this light is not allergic to water. Have had it submersed in water, used it in the rain, and not once has water ever leaked inside.

Have used the light for automotive work, computer maintenance, short walks outside, even got me home one stormy day when was on a bicycle. Gave me enough light to get home since a lightning strike took the power grid offline and it was really black outside. Also has helped when the lights have gone out at home. And since it is so small, have always EDC it in the elastic pocket of many a Leatherman sheath.

Keep hoping for a bigger version in a AA size that is also waterproof.

Has to be the Eagletac D25LC2 for me, almost perfect light for EDC IMO. Good size, battery life and the low mode is high enough for almost all tasks.

My favourite ... full-size flashlight is also my only full-size flashlight, lol - Fenix E25.

It is my favourite because .... I have a bunch of keychain flashlights, but this one is the most powerful one I own currently. I like that the beam reaches about 150m at about 200 lumens  :tu: It's more compact than it looks, although it takes 2 AAs. It's very simple to use and has a memory function- you don't have to be mathematician to remember & count how many times you turned something in what direction before you turn it on :D It also has somewhat...  of sentimental value for me, because it's my first more powerful flashlight bought with my own money ...lol i.e. not a present :D I've also been using it in its candle mode forever and with 2 AAs it indeed lasts forever....  I can write an essay on it, but it's true I haven't had other more powerful flashlights, so ... :D

Here's the guy

Nothing all that spectacular here. I don't have tons of high-tech flashlights. The closest thing I have to a full size light is my Mini Mag LED. Good price, multiple modes, and runs on AAs, which you can find anywhere, and you can find it in pretty much every big box store and building supply place.

My first 'real' flashlight was a minimag, and I still have a soft spot for it.

This is what I use, an old arc-p flashlight.
And what I like about it is the small size, the common battery type it uses and the fact that I can clip it to the brim of my beisball cap to use as a head lamp.

This is my Mag-Lite that I found in my dad's room and just took.  It was a 4D halogen flashlight, but I switched it with a TerraLux drop in.  Now, it is much brighter and the throw is great.  What makes me really like the flashlight is that it is large and heavy.  Whenever I need to use it, when outside in the dark, it makes me much more comfortable since I can whack any monsters that might be lurking in the darkness.

Thank you for the giveaway.

Bests,

This is my all around favorite - Four 7's Mini 123, Super Bright, multi mode and tiny, I keep it on a neck lanyard for hands free use/ walking around in the dark. Has a great amount of spill and perfect tint. easy to change modes with only one hand. Very reasonably priced, use it all the time. Also a great keychain light due to its small size, a great powerhouse in a tiny package>

Thanks for great giveaway!

Dorcy Black & Red Heavy Duty Plastic Krypton Flashlight with Magnet. My "Hark! Who goes there!" torch. Resting in its place at the door. It was in my truck when I bought in years ago. A standard option when the cab lights were shorted out.

Hmm, that's a tough one, but I think I'd had to say a Fenix T1, good light double setting low at 60 and high at 225, with just the turn of the heavy bezel to go from low to high, and a simple click of the rear switch to turn it on! No focus, just on/off, the body of it is aluminum but the large bezel has a stainless rim, runs on two 123a, and lastly a wire pocket clip(not that it would be comfortable)
But if we have to go full size I'd have to put in my life gear cause its the only thing I have that size, red one in the second pic, JR
sorry the leather thing that it's next to is a pocket calendar, just width wise, not top to bottom, basically the same as a checkbook,

My favorite full-sized flashlight is the first (and second) flashlight I ever owned. I had two 3 D-cell battery maglites that I purchased when I worked at a zoo. I gave night-time behind the scenes tours several times a month when I worked there as a college student. The flashlights supplied by the zoo were crummy so I bought my own. One was black and the other bright blue. I upgraded the bulbs in both to diamond brand LED modules to increase the batter life. One of them was left at the zoo when I finally left for a full-time job and the other now resides with my dad. I carry a much smaller NightCore SMart PD D20 and use it to give tours at a restored historical site. It's smaller and lighter than my maglites, but I still miss them. They served me well for four years.

"favorite" flashlight is like a SAK or MT, it's what you have with you at the time.

A few Christmases ago I asked my wife to get me a Quark AA flashlight. I chose it because it's bright, sturdy, compact enough, and can take a variety of power sources (from a rechargeable 14500 to a cheap alkaline scavenged from wherever). Within a few days we were vacationing in the town where we wed, and she borrowed the flashlight to walk along a dark road. She appreciated how it blazed in the night.

Since then, I carry this flashlight every day. I've taken it camping and caving. When I come home in the winter it makes me visible to cars.

And it reminds me how my wife cares about me.

Megalennium 3x18650 body for Surefire M6
It has a WA1185 and the 3 level pwm tail switch.
It's absolutely my favorite light. I like it so much I take it backpacking even though it's heavy.

21 - jerseydevil    :woohoo:

Not only did the Fenix P3D serve you well during Sandy, it won you a bran new Led Lenser F1. :D

Congrats.

Don't know if this can really be counted as a full size light but....
http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g448/Jerseydevil379/DSCF1938_zps1dd9925b.jpg

My Fenix P3D.  This was my hurricane light last October when Sandy knocked out power for 9 days.  It was bright enough to light up a whole room, and despite heavy use didn't need a battery change at all.  :tu:
