Two Red Sets.
on: July 16, 2013, 12:56:24 AM
Here are two kits that I have had for some time that definitely deserve to be in this cheap and cheerful section.

First up, the Mighty JobMate 6 piece tool set.

Yes, not very high quality here. However, there is one thing I like about this set...it is all brightly red rubber coated (except for flashlight). Very tactile.

Things are always nicer in red.

Included with the kit are...

Now for the next kit, this one is smaller, does not feature that nice tactile rubber coating, but does feature the colour red. How can you go wrong with things coloured red? Oh and this one has a cooler name....Tool Master!

This one features a nice aluminum box.

So there you have it, two cheap red kits.

A little Ferrari logo grafted on to those kits would look nice :)

I believe Ferrari would be down right ticked to be associated with these kits.  :D

LOL.. ya Im familiar with jobmate.  Its like take a cheap brand, and make it worse.. make it so bad it wont even work.  I bought some jobmate hacksaw blades yesterday at Canadian Tire.. and I should have know the price was too goo to be true... they wont even cut aluminum!  Whats the point of making a hacksaw blade that cant cut aluminum?

My jobmate weedwacker started on fire in the switch.
My jobmate electic lawnmower shorted out in the switch compartment.

So.. ya I stopped buying jobmate stuff.. its there to just rip you off I think.   Mastercraft is their store brand, and its at least decent.  My cheapo mastercraft drill press is still going strong after 6 years of daily use.
