agreed I hesitated to post since the shipping raised the price ive seen it for $37-$40usd with free shipping on amazon price seemed fair

Honestly, Brother Aloha, I am somewhat perplexed at how cheaply they sell these things.  Many knives and MTs seem pretty "overpriced" to me (at least from the perspective of a consumer who has no idea what it costs to produce them), but the Rebar seems "underpriced" for you what you are getting.  Heck, for <$35 you get a solid, American-made mid-sized MT thats good for EDC, the work belt, the glove compartment or the Go Bag.  Replaceable cutters, long-shanked real 3D phillips, and a 25 year warranty.  I'd rather have scissors than the can opener and serrated blade, but that's beside the point.  Its an awesome MT for an even better price.  They are currently $34.95 shipped on eBay as well.

I am sooooo fighting the urge to buy another one.   :)

I have the 24k gold rebar and paid $60usd.  it was a bday gift to myself and have wanted a "user" rebar but couldn't make up my mind on the BO or SS one.  ive been eyeing getting one and saw this ( I need to look at ebay more often ) and figure with shipping it was pretty good. 

BTW I totally agree with what you say about it the rebar.  I don't get it at all but hey all the better for the consumer.

im seriously thinking about getting the orange fuse + H5 led lenser from woot that was posted for 29.99. I don't need the light but the fuse at 29.99 seems like a good buy plus the color is nice.     

@taxidad  I honestly don't know how you all do it ( obtaining MTs ) at those prices.  id imagine at our US prices for just one day in the UK it would be an insane buying frenzy over there.

"frenzy" would just about cover it  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

just a warning about the orange 'paint', I had a couple of very nice looking skeletools until one saw about two weeks of pocket time (almost NO use)  if the fuse is the same i'd go for a plain one !
