Have i never put photo's up of mine? Whoops! They are great little lights, very handy and they fit in a Peli 1020 which is nice. Mine does have a slightly purple tint to it though (unless my eyes deceive me!)
Just bought one , I'm a big fan of pen lites . I use them lots for work , and even round the house . The Stylus pro has a well designed deep reflector , tuff build quality , and a nice flat - beadblasted finish . They come in 1 and 2 AAA versions - as opposed to the AAAA 's found in the earlier Stylus models . I found the throw good for a pen lite , a good hot spot , and nice sidespill for tasks . Mine may be an isolated example , but I found the color rendering of the lite to very good . Worth checking out if you are an RN , EMT , or FF . An RN friend of mine pronounced it satisfactory for use as an examination lite . Overall I'm pretty happy with it !Chris
The AAA Fenix model that ringzero is referencing is the LOD, for anyone interested.
I have an aquaintance who is a correctional officer . He has used one as a fistload on obstreperous inmates , it has held up fine . We are talking some pretty hard noggins and faceplates . I dont think I'll bother modding it , output is cool for my aplications . I may get one of the single AAA's for light summer wear . The price to quality , to performance ratio seems impressive .Chris
As the proud/sick owner of over a hundred flashlights the Stylus Pro gets my current top vote. It is my "go to" light these days. I EDC one at work with a Fenix L2D and I pull out the Stylus Pro for most jobs. I now only use the L2D when I need a lot of light or when I think it's feeling lonely because I haven't used it for a while! DON'T try and tell ME that flashights don't have feelings! Calvin
The only streamlight i own is the nanolight i might have to pick one of these up at the moment i have been using the cheapy hospital type good for lights to clip on the visor in your car.
