Yeah, this is kind of like someone saying they don't like beer, after only drinking beers with 'Milwaukee' in their name. There's a beer out there for almost every palate. You just have to get the good stuff.

Same as coffee.

I was using Gevalia for a period of time at home until we bought our Keurig, ( Donut shoppe, Columbia fair trade and Newman's organic ). At work its either DD , or a local deli that has Green Mountain.  Wish there was a Tim Horton's in the states !!!!

We have a Keurig machine at the store, mostly Newman's organic and Green Mountain on hand for it.  It works, but IMO makes a weak cup of coffee.  The main advantage is it's easily accessable.  :)  When I make coffee at home before I go into work, it's definitely on the strong side.

that's exactly why I haven't gotten one. ;) I've tried the Keurig on a couple different occasions, and it was ok, but definitely on the weak side.

I make mine in a French press using a nice, dark roast. I like my coffee to make my hair white and my teeth curly. :D

Depends on the cups or whatever those things are called. I got one that was stronger than the coffee I make. And mine at times can be used for motor oil.

Two weeks with no coffee and surprisingly I'm not climbing the walls anymore, although the withdrawal headache was a smurf  :twak:
Ohhh yes, it is like a bloody drug isn't it!  I HAVE to have my morning coffee or I'll get a headache.

I've had a few fairly strong coffees for the Keurig.  The French and Italian are pretty good, as is Midnight Magic (I think that's what it's called) and Rainforest Espresso.  I think they're all made by Timothy's.

My mother in law got me a big bag of whole bean Starbucks Christmas Blend. Broke out the grinder and it's been getting me through these last couple weeks of the semester. :)

I can agree with that. Italian and French Timothy's is about the strongest I've ever had.

I'm going to have to keep an eye out for some different brands and give them a try.  The coffee I make at home is strong enough to float a brick, would like to find an equivalent K-cup.....

sent from Nate's mobile

is there any other way to drink it?? ???

I have been using the same stainless steel coffee mug every day for ~12 years now. During that time, I think it has seen soap maybe 4 or 5 times... and that's only because my wife got a hold of it. ;) I figure there's nothing but black coffee going in there every day, so I just rinse it out and call it good. :D

My mugs at home go in the dishwasher, but my mug at work only get a quick rinse, and that's only because if I don't, my tea doesn't taste the greatest with the added coffee flavour!

I say that for tea. I take my coffee black, with a horseshoe floating in it. No more than three cups per day lately though  :-[

I'd put in some tsipouro -not with anise- but then I drink my tsipouro chilled and straight.

And I only rinse the teapot too.

I just rinse my cup, rarely does ot every see soap. Don't drink tea in it either. Taints the coffee. I drink tea in a different cup. The only two things that I put in my coffee, more coffee or rum.

That's what I usually keep at work as I don't have a fridge near buy.  I do prefer blend (10%) in my coffee, and no sugar.  If I'm drinking it black then I'll add a little bit of sugar.
