No reviews yet on the faux-Swisstool or Spirit. :P I imagine when there is one it will be rather scathing.

What's really wrong here is... Usually fakes are cheaper than the original, these are 2 to 4 times MORE expensive... WTF?

(supposedly) clever scamming scheme?

An interesting development in SAK consumer deception.  Googling Pike & Co Home and Leisure turns up no such company.  They might exist only as a name to market these knives made by... ?
The knives shown do not have the characteristics of many recent fakes -- mis-shaped reamer, bogus mini-driver, wrong grind on scissors, white tweezer-head, copy of Victorinox shield...  The out-of-focus tang stamps look a lot like Vic 3 and 4 line stamps.  Are these made by Vic with blank scales, or with post-factory scales popped on, and sold "by Alex Whyte", with the same names as the Victorinox models at plus-Vic prices?
The reference to "Pike & Co class stainless steel" suggests they are oriental copies hoping for the unknowing buyer.
The photos might be of real SAKs with the Vic shield photo-shopped out and the buyer gets -- who knows what?

That's my thinking, I just want someone to give it a shot so we can sort this mystery out. :D

I suppose someone should report them.

And that's not all... They have thousands of items listed on Amazon UK, much more than just SAKs  >:(

Just do a search "PIKE & CO", seriously... i got circa 35000 hits, now of course lots of it is your run of the mill cheap chinese crap, but apart from that, i already spotted fiskars and bahco stuff (and of course victorinox)

Looks like a major scam being set up.  Check-it-out; each item has two sellers, the other seller charges double to make the price look good I suppose for the first seller.  This is major scam setup.

The seller seems to have a good rating, but this makes him look more like a first rate A.H.

Looks like Amazon UK is not paying enough attention to their selling partners.
