Terra Lux LED Solitare upgrade..

I was looking at the Terra Lux site.. And I don't have any Terra Lux products.. After taxes, I am going to buy a Solitare upgrade and a 2AA Mini Mag upgrade.. Anyways, does anyone have any experiece with the Solitare upgrade?

I have had experience with the AA upgrade , best I have run into . Presuming the same engineering , you should be happy .

Do they do a Solitaire upgrade?

The only one I can see is for the AAA mini-mag which isn't the same thing. maybe I'm being daft though (it wouldn't be the first time).

I do have the TLE-5EX MiniStar2 Extreme drop in and can say it's well worth the money. Very, very bright and an excellent colour.

They sell Soliaire upgrades i have seen them on ebay for around 20 dollars. You can do your own LED mod for around 2.50. Here is the link http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=74247

I have the Solitaire.
A bit bulky -the lens doesn't fully close, but it's still watertight-, but the light output is astonishing

I did the Solitaire LED mod from the link in my previous post last night my My Solitaire in one little bright light now and best of all it only cost only a few dollars. I bought the 5mm Led from Radio Shack 276-0017 two pack for two dollars the battery i used is MN21/123 12volt it was a dollar and a half at K-Mart it is shorter than a AAA battery so made a spacer out of a screw, washers, and some nuts. It was easy to do the hardest part was removing the lens i used a ice pick.

That Fenix E01 looks like a nice little light not priced bad either. The LED upgrade also seems like a good deal for ten dollars and change shipped.
