Up'd the arsenal!... Pic heavy

Ebay sniper...No.
Ebay assassin!..Yes! LoL!!!

With so many SAKs I wanted to make a topic just to show off and share my thoughts on some of the pieces.
I'll start by saying getting used SAKs other than Ebay is a *%$#@! Went to a local flea market and dang near every thrift store and ended up with nada. Gonna try pawn shops next but their only interested in: guns, jewelry, and electronics. So SAKs are probably gonna be a no go like the early adventures, but I'm gonna try.

First in mass to give it more effect, then my personal gems.

Each row is a different lot except for the bottom three which were acquired individually.

The personal gems...
My Compacts. This is where my purchasing started. Bought three Compacts for projects. One will be left untouched except for some Silvertech scales. Two will be modded and the last and roughest will be bartered to a friend. The Sapphires scales are going in a box; near immaculate.

My first 74mm. Other than maybe an Alox I think I bought the only 74mm I'll ever need. As you may notice it needs a cleaning, the last bundle is fresh out the mail box. No thoughts on the tool set till I get it cleaned up and use it a bit.
@Detron, I got me a black one like I said! :D

Love the reverse logo, would love it more with no advert on the back...
The pliers are coming out of this one and it'll be sold as a Super Tinker. The scales are going in a box. Need more time with the pliers...

Always wanted a Cybertool. Don't even know why. Payed as much for the lot as people ask for the Cybertool alone. I really like the bit drivers reach so this tool set is going straight to work.
This too will be getting some Silvertech scales after I replace the pliers with metal saw... It'll reside next to a Leatherman so im ok on pliers.

Last but definitely not least and my surprised favorite of the bunch... And may actually take the place in my heart that has been filled by Compacts.
My First 84mm and sought after by many. The one and only, Golfer!!!

So surprised with how much I like it, and the scissors are in perfect shape. Super happy with this one. Plus it has the old version combo tool I wanted to try out. Might just get a few more as my final SAK purchases.
Might see if someone wants to trade one for a Compact with hook/nail file.
This one's corkscrew is bent but I'll fix that. Was thinking mod, but opted out of it.
Would of done an Alox with Orange scales thing...butt "someone's" (you know who you are) kind of bought them all.  ;)

The only thing I want are some 84mm Black nylon scales and this may just go into rotation...
So glad I added to my: collection, inventory, and list of parts for projects.

Any thought please post.
Till then. :salute:

Real great pick ups!  :tu:

That Cybertool is top notch. I would keep the light blue translucent scales, but silver tech will look good as well.

I wish Victorinox would still make 84mm SAKs with scissors. They make them with Wenger, but Wenger is being shut down now. Maybe they will start up with 84mm SAK scissors once Wenger is completely done with all SAK production.

Nice! If you go for SilverTech you lose the pen.
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

The original plans for the C.T. were for some Ruby + scales but I like to color coordinate. Everything next to the CT is silvery/steely so Silver Tech scales it is.
Losing the pen is OK; it's new home is in my bag. Plus I carry a 91mm and 58mm both with pens.

Plucked the pliers out of the Deluxe Tinker...Project time!

I really like the 84mm scissors. The older style is shaped slightly different. Like the feel and look. Reminds me of a bird of prey or Pterodactyl.
