Duct tape is great stuff but I haven't used it in so long I forget what it's like to work with. In the military we call it 100 MPH tape :think: I now use gaff tape which is a bit stronger, I think.

Gaffers Tape (or stage tape) is a bit difefrent. It´s used to fix cables to stages, lighting, tape courtains to trusses.... and is constructed to be removeable without residue.
It is a bit firmer than Duct Tape, as it is fabric based.

Yes, but the base fabric and the kind of glue is fairly different. I´m lacking the correct terms for a correct description.

I used duct tape to realign the toe in on my old breaking down jeep today.







Okay it helped, I used it to tape the measuring tape on one tire so I can read the distance on the other.
