How long have you EDC a multi-tool?

I know it's been over 20 years for me.

My first one was the gerber without the locks.
I have one on me 99% of the time. That other 1% that I don't have one on me there is one close by like in the car, toolbox or pack.

How about you?

I don't have a straight timeline of carry but I would say over the course of my life I'm at 6 years total of carrying everyday. I've had some excessive dry spells where I didn't carry at all but I've been chugging along here for more than a year with a multi in my pocket every day.

I've been carrying a MT since Nov. 2007. That's when I got my first Wave. My EDC though usually doesn't stay the same for long.

Been edcing my charge for 3-4 years, its by my night stand when I go to bed together with my L2D. Oh yeah surge switched duty with my charge.

About two years. I don't feel comfortable without some kind of pliers on me now

I went to the police station today to retrieve a stolen work truck, and forgot they had metal detectors! So anyways I walked in with my papers and told the officer what I needed to do and he let me through without "disarming" myself of two razor knives, my Powerlock, my Soldier, my space pen, keychain stuff, etc...The detector never went off so maybe he turned it off
