some time yesterday morning I was rudely disconnected from the 'interweb' !!!!
my phoneline had been mistakenly damaged by workmen working up my road, leaving me cut off from the world
much like 'electricity' you don't realise how much you miss your internet till it's not there
and my Girls were beside themselves with worry, how would they'd survive the 72 hours that we had been warned it would take to get the problem sorted ?
to teenage girls internet connection is more vital than 'air'
I was mid deal with a MTO member, although I was sure payment had been completed etc. I couldn't inform the guy that my package had arrived, which it had done (very promptly I might add
) and I couldn't even remember the mans 'user name'
I could only remember him as 'Paul' because we'd chatted via PM and not purely on the forum
so the only thing I could think of was a 'text' to KIRK13 and getting him to do some detective work, and asking him to send a PM on my behalf. which he did ! and brilliantly !
so despite what we say about him, Kirky has his uses god bless him, what a star
