Does such an animal exist?
Eventually even McGyver got himself a Leatherman

Never seen one, and looking at Gerber's site, they don't make one.  :(  Carbide cutters yes, RemGrit no.
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

  • Apparently it is possible to have too many tools;)
So make one - plenty of cheap donors available on the bay of thieves.   :pok:

I have a blunt nosed, carbide cutter Pro Scout.  Sadly it seems to have been a rare beast and I've only ever seen the one I bought and, I think, one other on the forum. :-\

Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

This sounds like the best plan to me.  Swapping the heads on a MP600 is a doddle, just mind out for the small internal springs. ;)

I have a Pro Scout here which I would sell or trade and it would be half the way, just find a Carbide cutter equipped bluntnose - Then put the needlenose head in the donor for the Carbide cutters, sell the tool on teh bay (or here) and you are done.

The Pro Scout is pretty cheap at the moment. I think it might get cheaper after Xmas. I may have something to trade then also.

One of our members offers a Bluntnosed, Carbide cutter equipped MP 600 here:

And I can fix you up with a Proscout.

I "grew" it for him, so it came off my shelf but was homegrown here.  ;)
And btw, if you would like the Needlenose head to go back to original, let me know, Tom!

Naah, I like it like this :)

Besides, I somehow got tricked into winning a Gerber lot on the -very- Evil bay, so I'm quite okay for that kind of thing.... Maybe I'll even mod a totally-serrated blade into it...

...and if you find a good plain edge MP 600 blade, I´d be happy to take it out of your hands - If need be, including a buggered up MP 600 hanging at the blade.  :pok:
I NEED to refurbish my First production run MP 600.

and let us see what you mod/puzzle together with that lot!
