In our dorm (it was 9 floors) the pranks were between the different floors. The last one I did was to put cardboard over this girls door frame. To leave a space about 5 inches and as tall as the door, and the door opens into the room. Then I filled it will popcorn. Took something like 6 large jars of kernals and I was up late popping it all and storing it in garbage bags. Then I filled the void in the door and waiting till morning....
She said the smell of popcorn stayed in her dorm room for the rest of the year.
