My Collection, end of 2013
on: December 24, 2013, 12:15:41 AM
I thought I'd post a pick of (most of) my MTs. Mostly for my own reference in looking back.

Also, I think maybe as I cross 40, it's time to actually ADMIT that it's a collection. :D

So...

Along the top row...
Left side, Leatherman:
ST300
Kick
Sidekick
Wingman
Juice KF4
Juice S2
Style PS
Squirt PS4
Micra

Then a few randoms ones...
SOG Crosscut
IDL T10

Gerber:
Mini Suspension S
Bear Grylls 'Strata'

Second and Third row, left side: Victorinox
Spirit X
Handyman
Deluxe Tinker
Farmer
Silvertech Climber
Tinker
Cadet
Ruby Swisslite
Classic with Air Force Scales
Classic with Black Scales
Rambler

The rest is Cheapo stuff, and won't bother to list individually.

I'm also somehow missing 3 little cheapos somewhere, not seen in the photo. Probably scattered in various drawers and such.

Thank you.

I think it's humble, compared to many here, but I kind of don't even consider it a collection. If I still had every tool i'd gotten and then gotten rid of, it'd be another 20 or more tools.

I'm still trying things out, and even a lot of what's shown here is likely to move on to another home, once all the Christmas rush is over, and I get the energy to ship more stuff out.

When I joined here, I had ZERO swiss army knives. And to be fair, I've only purchased about half of these ones. They just spontaneously multiply, as far as I can tell.

i'm sure they breed if left in a draw together Lynn.
like you, I wouldn't call myself 'a collector' (or even a 'user' really) more a 'fiddler' and 'dreamer'
a fine 'herd' you have ? (or is there a proper name for a flock of multitools?)

So say we all.  :D

I only joined this year, and too was trying to start a 'collection'.  And certainly it will never quite be the same level as some of our resident mega collector, but it's been a joyful experience to purchase and collect at my own pace.  The best part is, MT or not, to get to know many good members here on this forum. :tu:

I think that's a great collection you have there Lynn!  It's also a great idea to have a thread like this to look back this time next year and see how's it's changed.  :tu:

Pretty cool stuff!   :tu:  The Silvertech Climber is looking particularly good.   8)

I didn't start out to be a collector myself, but it's funny the way I keep seeing another tool that I really need to get.   :climber:

Thanks all.

Etherealicer: Fear not. Wengers come and go. There just aren't any at the moment, but I am seriously eying a EvoGrip 18.

Kirk: No, no Swisschamp... yet. Maybe some day.

Chako: you all KNOW I'm all about the cheap and cheerful. :D

Very nice Lynn.  :tu:  Nice to know that I had a small part in the starting of your SAK non-collection....  ;)

Yeah, a 'small part'. :D
'Yo man... the first one's FREE.'
Still love that Tinker, JD.  :salute:

You say it is humble, but it's more than I had when I started this site in '06!  And, back then I only knew of myself, Dave Bowen and some guy named Bob on BF that had any interest in multitools!  :D

It looks like you have most of the bases covered there!

Nice and diverse. :tu:

I'd thought there would be more C&C multies though. :P
