My "addiction" started around 1980 when my father gave me my first knife, the Victorinox Huntsman. On our camping trips, I worked hard to find uses for each and every tool. I was perfectly satisfied for a few years until I saw the Champion in a display case at a cutlery store in the local mall. Wow! I fell in love. I had to have one. After all, it was the biggest and baddest Victorinox. Even bigger than MacGyver's. Being a poor teenager, it was not easy but I saved and purchased one. Naive as I was, I thought that model was going to be the king of the hill forever. Of course, they came out with the SwissChamp. Uggh! OK, I saved some more money and bought one of those. And so the quest goes. I have about 15 knives today, but will not be satisfied until I get the Giant. Like the old Depeche Mode song goes, I Just Can't Get Enough. You guys understand....
