I would love to see a paired down Cyber Tool.  Basically, a Tinker with the Cyber Tool parts thrown in- No cork screw or parcel hook either; it's not going to happen though.

I wonder if the Wenger molds can be repurposed to the 84mm line?  It would be interesting if they could release some novel 84mm configurations, especially in alox.  Vic now has enough robust nonmassmarket channels (+B, Felinevet et al) where a limited run of premium models could be snatched up.

+B already has a Blue Yeoman, and at $65 it is on the upper limit of being affordable.  If one were to buy the parts secondhand and get a modder to assemble one,  you could roughly get that price (and don't forget all the shipping required), but it would be neither new nor factory spec nor would it be under warranty.  Of course if you were a modder it would be a different story.

I for one would like 2mm carbon fiber scales on the 91mm line alox style, you could save about 4mm overall on the whole knife.  In addition, they could use brass liners, and make it even thinner.  A Compact slim would be pretty sweet.

More 91mm's with the combo tool, plus anything Alox with scissors.

I'd also like to see an upgraded flashlight in the 91mm, maybe a scale integrated LED similar to the  Sig Lite...

Alox scales for the 91mm line would be great! :salute:

Another thing I'd like to set (less a configuration that than a handle variation) is a series of scenic knives for U.S. (and other) national parks. I know I keep beating this drum, but maybe eventually someone in Victorinox will act on it.

I'd like the Troubleshooter (with plus scales) to be a regular model, but it's just too close to the Craftsman. I only have 5 Troubleshooters, so I'd like to be able to pick up a backup, or two!  :D

I'd say Vic has people that cruise forums like this for info every now and again. Whether they act on it is a different matter though.

For me: 93mm alox with scissors and/or pliers. I'd like to see the 84mm line become more prolific, bring back the scissors and possibly adapt some of the 91mm line parts to fit it. A 111mm OH Trekker with some of the non-OH tools (such as pliers and scissors) would be a great addition too.

I'd love to see a factory Rambler or Drifter with USB; it may or may not happen, but if it doesn't, I'll keep making 'em  :pok:.

Add me to the list for this :tu:  I have no idea why this isn't already a stock SAK anyway considering the demand (well, at least on here anyway).  I would even possibly add the file as well.

That's really down to each individual.
But, it would be interesting if Vic were to show some attitude and maybe release a totally radical SAK.
I'm guessing they now own Wenger's patents along with Bear - Jaws.
There only limitation is their own imagination.

Let's see if they can re-write the book, so to speak.

If not, then it will speak volumes of victorinox's mindset.
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I never understood the craftsman.

Surely, the most basic tool any craftsman requires is an inline Philips. I've never ever found a use for the backside Philips. A total and utterly lazy cop-out on any modern day SAK layout.

Either bringing back 84mm scissors, or more 111s with pocket clips. Of course, right now I'm dreaming of a Hunter XT with a clip and the addition of a stainless file next to the saw.

93mm Alox with the inline Phillips like Syph does.

To my mind, the 93mm knives add a lot compared to the 91mm knives. If you want the scissors and scale tools then pack a Rambler or Manager too - the scissors are still very good.

The reason that the Phillips is the first thing I'd add as opposed to other tools:
Scissors: very good ones available on 58mm knives
Pliers: better off with a keychain Leatherman. Unless Victorinox re-designed the pliers to make them better.
Fish scaler: of limited use to the majority of people. Not saying that the ingenious wouldn't find uses for it but it isn't as universally useful.
Metal file: this would probably be next on the list behind the Phillips and redesigned pliers.

The other thing I'd like to see is the return of the Technician's screwdriver. Once I eventually collect all the parts I'm planning on grinding down a can opener to mimic it.

I would like to see the Alox Electrician have the awl swapped out for the smaller screwdriver/can opener. I think electricians would need/use a smaller screwdriver.

+1.  I would definitely buy a Technician or Technician Plus to carry if they weren't expensive collectors' items these days.

Combine the two above-  electrician with the technician screwdriver opposite the main blade.

We have a winner!
