First, welcome to the forum.

If I understand correctly, you are looking for a flashlight that has the following:
  • ridiculously high output
  • ridiculously long throw/peak beam intensity
  • significant spill
  • light weight

The problem is that the laws of physics always apply, so there are trade-offs in every design, and you have to decide which attributes are most important to you and which you are willing to compromise on.  If you must have comparable output and throw to a TK75, I'm afraid you're going to be stuck with a TK75 or something of similar size and weight barring major technological advancements.  If decide the weight and size of the TK75 are just too much, you'll have to sacrifice some output and throw to get a light that is more comfortable to carry (again, barring major technological advancements).

If you could let us know what your intended use is, or what attributes are critical vs. flexible, I'm sure the folks here could come up with some good suggestions.

is there a step down from the tk 75 or will it not be now where as good?? (spotting rabbits in field say 2-300m)
I might settle for less throw

Welcome to the forum Relic. :)

I'm wondering if something with a flexible battery system might be good for you?  I'm thinking of something like the Eagletac G25C2 MKII: http://www.eagletac.com/html/g25c2/specs.html  Battery extender tubes can be bought to give longer run times, but even with a single 18650 cell it's a pretty impressive looking light.

NiteCore TM26 has 3000 lumen in a "tiny"-body

SolarStorm - T6 with 4k lumens and a hard to beat price. Though I can't find a manufacturer website, so that is probably a warning.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Might be your best option, in spite of the dimensions and weight.  Spotting something the size and color of a rabbit at 300 meters at night is going to take sharp eyesight plus a really serious light.

As you compare flashlights, you might find it useful to look at the ANSI/NEMA FL1 beam distance.  FL1 is a voluntary standard, but for those manufacturers who choose to use it, the beam distance provided for each flashlight is the distance from the front of the flashlight to where the illuminance drops to 0.25 lux, which is "approximately the equivalent of the light emitted from the full moon on a clear night in an open field".  This is useful when comparing different flashlights, but you still need to evaluate what level of illumination will be sufficient for your needs, as well as consider that under real-world conditions (as opposed to laboratory conditions) the useful beam distance may be less than stated for various reasons.  The TK75 has a beam distance of 690 m, which may be the highest I've seen for a handheld light.  In comparison, the somewhat smaller TK35 has a beam distance of 340 m, the suggested EagleTac has a beam distance of 295 m, and the suggested Nitecore has a beam distance of 415 m.  Hope this helps.

You may want to consider an HID light. A 25W or 40W model will be reasonably small with good spill and throw. Bigger ones e.g. 85W will be better but bigger. There are various types with varying quality and price.

Did you look at SX25L3? 300g, smaller than the TM26 and an output of 2750 lumens...

everything I am seeing and reading about the Barracuda says to me it should give a usable light out to 200m+ easily.
