Hmmm, let's see...  I'll probably need a knife, maybe scissors, and probably a Philips driver....  I think I might just use my Style CS for the present opener.  I know it doesn't have a Philips, but I think the tip of the file just might do the trick.

*edit*
That will be my at home carry.  When we go to the inlaws, I'll take that, and probably my TTi, or SwissTool.

Probably my Squirt PS4, I shouldn't need anything very beefy andif I do then I won't have far to go.
The other option is a CT34.

General use now I'm staying with my parents will likely be the Skeletool round the house and outside.

It will be my Spirit X. Simple, good lookin' and if some assembly required it's there

CRKT Get-a-way driver for a good selection of screwdrivers (battery compartments etc), some good small-ish scissors (Micra or Squirt S4 perhaps?) and a nice slim knife for box opening.

At some point I expect to be carrying a shiny new Diesel. :)

Probably be my Style CS in my pocket.

But seeing I'm on call I will be driving the work van so will have a full set of (real) tools in there, including my Rebar and Electrician. I think I will have everything covered from opening wrapping paper to assembly of anything up to a full size motocross bike .

Probably my Octane - the package opener will come in handy

Maybe the Wingman, though

I will have my Climber and Squirt P4 (with PWII and Spyderco Police for backup).  May seem light to some, but I've found this combo capable vs. all manner of packaging, battery compartments, and toy assembly.

The wife and I drove up to her sister's place in San Bruno, to spend Xmas Eve. I brought my Charge TTi, but have only been carrying my Rambler. Xmas morning, we are flying back down to LA (in laws flew up, and are driving down), and heading straight to my folks' house for brunch. I stashed an alox Cadet there, so guess that will be it.

Probably gonna my the Recruit for me. I have a Skeletool and a utility knife stashed in various pockets in my winter coat..
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Today, for Christmas Eve, we're going to some fancy hotel, so all I got is my brand new Danish black Cadet, and a black Alox Vagabond just to be sure :P

Tomorrow, we'll see. Probably something with a corkscrew in it
