As I stated in under the Swiss Forum, I am starting to part with some of my collection.
Here is what I am willing to part with for the time being:
1. Outdoorsman from the 1970's.
NOTE: Scales are REPLACED with newer scales that has the pin-hole behind the corkscrew. This was how I got it...and I added the pin to indicate.
-Aluminum liners show some minor pitting (typical) at the top/exposed edges.
-Key ring shows wear but fully serviceable.
-Main blade has ALL serrations (not sharpened down). It is marked Victorinox Switzerland -Stainless Rostfrei on one side, Officier Suisse on the other side. I state this as I have another one (not for sale at the present time) that is marked Elinox on the blade.
-Hook/Hawk-bill blade appears to have never been sharpened.
- Dates from the 1970's due to the profiled tip on the awl.
$70 due to rarity of the knife, however, as stated previously, replacement scales.
2. One-Hand Trekker with oval thumb hole (discontinued circa 2008).
-Black scales.
-I purchased this in 2009 NIB from SMKW.
-Never sharpened. Looks 99%. Has box.
-I will include a black nylon Victorinox logo pouch (not shown).
$40 on this one.
3. Trekker, no thumb hole blade.
-Black scales.
-I purchased it in South Korea in 2010.
-Main blade has DE-GM 9305297 reverse side of the Victorinox marked part of the main blade.
-Shows little to no use. No box. So around 98%.
-I will include a black nylon Victorinox logo pouch.
$35 on this one.
4. Swiss Flame ruby scales.
-Scissors (if it had the saw in lieu of scissors, then it would be a Camp Flame).
-I purchased it in Korea in 2009.
-Other than the lighter (that DOES NOT WORK, I filled it after I bought it and it didn't work, which is common. When you attempt to use it, it does electronic spark), the knife is in perfect condition. It did not come with a box.
$150 FIRM on this one, due to rarity and never sold/offered in the U.S.A.
I REALLY want to sell this one to a collector in the U.S.A. due to never offered for sale in the U.S.A. during its 2003-2006 production run.
[SOLD] 5. Autotool. 100% NIB.
- All "plastic parts" are there. Again it has NEVER BEEN USED.
-Still has the battery in the zip-lock bag, never opened. I am pretty sure it is expired...then again, you never know.
-Box shows normal shelf wear as it dates from early to mid 1990's. Swiss Army Brands packaging.
$100 FIRM as it is NIB and no longer made.
I can take more detailed pics if you like. What you see is what you get, except for the new black nylon pouches with Victorinox logo (not shown) that will go with the lock-blade knives.
If not sold within a reasonable amount of time (say 10-14 days), I will E-Bay them.
Payment:
USPS money order OR Pay-Pal (send money as a gift to avoid fees). No credit cards. No personal checks. I will ship once funds are received.
Shipping: You pay for shipping. I figure for U.S. shipping, around $10, will verify based upon location, insurance, type of shipping, etc.
FYI: I am located in South Carolina, USA.
International........I would have to look that up and then get back with you.
I am not responsible for lost, stolen mail. I recommend to ship via certified mail with tracking number and/or insurance number.
YOU are responsible for laws in your city, county, state, country. Send me a PM along with a reply to this thread if interested.
No returns!!!!! And, to my knowledge, none are mods. I say that as I received a MOD-ed SAK once from an E-Bay seller from Canada ( a Franken, home-brewed Master Craftsman).
