If that Vic is truly "real nice" as the seller states, he's "real stupid" for not showing at least the blade.

Yeah, that seller was stupid at all.

Showing all tools, stating it has a long nail file, showing metal tweezers etc I would say this knife would make more than 100 bucks.

My thoughts exactly.  It surprises me in this day and age that sellers still don't realize the benefit of some high quality pictures and description when selling a product, regardless of the product they're selling.

It benefits me in a way though.  I sometimes take a chance on an auction like this and come out way ahead with a great deal.

I kind of doubt the seller knew what he had. Let alone that it was of any collectors value whatsoever. Otherwise he wouldn't have placed it in a lot with a Chinese and an US knife.

Also who knows what state the blades are in and if the nail file or the backsprings are maybe broken as the back side is not shown at all. It's a gamble with such auctions. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes not.

And we generally love mislabeled auctions no one saw, right? ;)

I agree with that.  Like I said though, if is truly is "real nice" as described, I would be taking all kinds of great pictures, regardless of whether I really knew what it was.

I was watching this one, and I was hoping to bid on it, but I decide to not take the gamble. If it's in real nice condition, then the winning bidder got a great deal on a great vintage SAK!
