Victorinox 58mm Scissors beat Wenger 65mm scissors in most everything I've ever tested them on.
Victorinox cut a piece of leather, paracord, bandage, drapes, and cotton T-shirt better. With all materials taut and un-taut. Un-taut plastic went either way and paper was marginally in favor to Wenger. It's design pushes the paper away from the scissors which help when your deep into the material plus the shearing edge is a little longer, but the serrations catch on material slowing down cutting.
Wenger scissors from 4 different Esquires wouldn't cut paracord at all... The cord was gnawed on and fold it in their teeth like a bicycle tire in the jaws of a derelict mutt.
I have many anti Wenger post across this board. This is the reason.
I want to try Leatherman scissors after watching the Last Boy Scouts vid, but I'm not willing to pay the Leatherman price. Even used they can be pricey. Hold their resale value like a Honda.
