Anybody bought something from hand-tools.com?
on: January 22, 2014, 11:46:09 AM
Well just that, they have huge stock and some nice prices but havent used them before and found some very mixed reviews. So i wanted to know if anyone had some direct experience with them before.

Thanks.

I know the owner of that site- he also owns gerber-tools.com and used to advertise here.  I haven't heard form him in a while, but he's a good guy.  The major issue he had a while back was the same one that a lot of US based sellers have, and that's shipping outside of the US.  He used to charge a giant premium for international shipping as USPS goes out of their way to overcharge and/or make people paranoid.

He may have figured out a better way to ship by now though, so by all means feel free to contact him.

Hey thanks for the reply. Today i sent a message through facebook because i couldnt through their web page and they replied fast and clearly, some sellers seem to dont even read messages, but they do. The shipping costs now are the same as any other seller so i may give them a try.

Thanks again  :tu:
