What's Your BEST Leatherman Story?

I was thinking this might be an interesting thread. Instead of the day-to-day things we do with MT's, what is the downright coolest, most inventive or day-saving thing you've accomplished via your Leatherman?
Although I've saved the day a few times with a MT, these are two of my favorites:
1. About 7 years ago, I was getting all squared up to ask my wife to marry me, which included visiting the parents and asking permission. The parents were divorced, and lived a couple hours away from each other and from where my wife and I were living. No problem. Drove out to parent #1 and got the "OK". Started driving over to parent #2 and realized I was going to be early. As I was driving over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, I glanced into my rear-view mirror and saw smoke billowing from behind my truck. No stopping allowed on the bridge, so I kept on going, keeping an eye on the gauges. As I left the bridge, my oil light starting blinking every couple seconds. I took the first exit I could and coasted thru a yellow light and into a parking lot just as the oil light went solid ON. I got out and saw engine oil pouring onto the ground! I had installed an oil filter relocation kit (ask any 2002 Toyota Tacoma owner "why" (horrible, inverted OEM filter location)) about 60k miles ago, and the o-ring mount on the engine block had blown. A quick survey of my surroundings spotted a K-Mart a couple blocks away. I started running! Got some towels, a new filter and 6qts of oil and ran back to my truck. I was dressed nice, so I stripped down to my undershirt and set out some towels to lay on. Used my Wave to cut the oil lines, and also used it to spin off the adapter plate from the engine block. Halfway thru this debacle, of course, there was a torrential downpour and I got soaked. Got everything buttoned up, hopped back in my truck, heater on high, and made it on time to dinner #2, all dried out, and got her dads thumbs up!
2. I was driving to the mountains to go hiking, and just before leaving pavement for 20 miles of dirt road to the trailhead, my old K5 Blazer started smoking in the cab. I pulled over and saw hot ATF pouring on the the ground. Ruptured cooling line. Being a "beater" truck, I always carried extra fluids. Used my Wave to cut the line clean, sawed the ends off a ballpoint pen, bridged the line with the pen body, tightened on some hose clamps and topped off the fluid. Now a smart person would have gone home and fixed it proper, but I continued on my drive and hike, and it failed again a few thousand miles later.

Hmm, nothing particularly exciting, but I have a couple:
-Was helping a farmer friend of mine to survey damage to his property fence line after a wildfire. After travelling an hour or so and investigating some of the more damaged areas, we realised we'd forgotten his toolbox
ST300 to the rescue though- we were able to complete enough minor repairs to keep things going
-Building a computer for a friend (at his place) and had been told 'don't worry about tools, I've got heaps'. He neglected to mention they were made of metal as soft as butter
Ended up building the whole thing with my Charge TTi

Last weekend I was working the morning shift as usual, 30 minutes before the shift change one of the top dogs of my employer called the front gate to inform me that his "any" key broke off in the lock of our auto maintenance and he couldn't get in. I went over and looked at the 3/4 of a key stuck in the lock. He started asking me to call the on call maintenance guy to come over and get the key out so I could open the door for him. Instead I pulled out my OHT and opened the small flat head driver and after fiddling a bit got it out enough for my pliers to pull it out. He was quite grateful and even took an interest in my OHT. Yeah my OHT impressed my supervisor. I'm the only security guard who carries a multitool. I love my OHT more now.

I work in an industrial loft complex. At times when a tenant doesn't pay the rent for an extended period of time, the city marshal comes down and gives us possession of the loft. Last week, during one of these routine situations, we come across an American Lock Company hidden shackle lock on the main door. These door are old, 1900's fire doors, each weighing a couple hundred pounds. So I proceed to take my angle grinder and start cutting the lock face.
Now, with the shackle hidden, I decided that the only way to get this lock off was to try to cut it along its body and hopefully it would weaken enough that I could just pry it apart. Well, 2 grinder wheels later and about 40mins worth of work, I managed to cut the body into 4 pieces and went to grab a heavy screwdriver...oops, no screwdriver. Well with the city marshal there, its not like I could just leave and go get a screwdriver so I reach for my ST300 and jam the pliers into the cuts and begin to pry the pieces apart. Worked like a charm and no damage done whatsoever to the ST300. City marshal was amazed that the tool was about to handle that task and even stated, "holy s***!"
I remain a loyal Leatherman user, and will always stand behind the brand whose tool have always stood behind me.

Hi from Germany,
took a week of military training last oktober in Grafenwöhr; in my pocket I carried a wave....all went surprisingly smooth, until our last day - we were ordered to clean up some wirefence...."nato-draht" - very sharp, therefore everybody was ordered to wear thick leather gloves....
To fasten it together, there was only some cord or plastikband available....so I searched our surroundings....fund a large bunch of wire.....
Came back with it and saw my commanding officer lighten up...till he realized, that we haven´t been issued anything to cut it with...
Thanks to my wave, we made it back in time without any injuries ;-)

I had taken our high school baseball team to their district baseball game. While at the game the catcher's mask fell apart. I used my Leatherman Super tool to Put the catchers mask backtoether. Prof.

Girlfrien and I decided to go on a hike during the weekend. So happened her friend decided to join us. We drove to her place, jumped in for a cuppa while she got ready. Lock the door, jump in my car, turn the key... And it's turning dry....
Of course there was a neighbour in the garden next door watering something. As I popped the bonnet he gave me a big smut (two femails on the back seat) and a comment "defo a fuel pump, expensive that...".
I had this turbo diesel for about a year so I knew what and where-leak off pipes crack and let air in to the fuel line. I have changed them first thing with all the filters when I payed for the car but.... Our frien lived alone so no tools apart from a bucket of nails and a hammmer.
Charge AL to the rescue, engine cover off (torx), air filter pipe off for access (phillips), pliers to take the tubes off, knife to trim the cracked one clean, assemble. 10 min total.
Fuel filter was full and I had a fresh battery so after some more turning it sprunged to life. Day saved.
I had bigger jobs with my LM but after this one I had a lot of love for my charge...
