Thanks!  Yeah, I'm looking forward to the longer reach driver. Plus the fact I can easily fit this snug inside my existing Swiss Champ sheaths.

the CT41 is a liner-thickness thicker than a swisschamp.

Agreed! I love the Swisschamp, but to me the CT41 is easily worth the extra thickness of a liner.  The extra reach, and utility of the bit driver is well worth it, plus the durability of the bits...

This is without doubt my favorite SAK. I love the bit selector and 2-way bit driver. This thing is awesome!

It is an amazing SAK isn't it?  to me the only downfall of the CT41 is the lack of the mag glass.  to me this is a very important tool, to some people it is not so much.

it the CT41 had a mag glass, I would probably carry it 95% of the time

Very nice!

I have a CT41 (bought in 2006)  and that is it except for a CT29 that is going to be gutted.  I am having a Cyber-Yeoman made.

Main blade - Combo tool  (Cork Screw)
Cybertool layer
Inline Phillips and Mag Glass
Scissors   (hook with file)

Glad you like it!  It does just about everything, doesn't it?  It's a tossup between the Swisschamp and the CT41, but for my uses the bit driver wins out over the magnifier.  It's truly a shame, IMO, that it has been retired but I suppose the price was somewhat prohibitive.

It is funny, in 2006, it was $61 on Amazon,  I know inflation sucks, but I do not think it drove it up that much.  if they were $70 - $75 I would buy more myself

IMO, $85 is a pretty fair price for a new CT41. I base this on the average price of a Swiss Champ and the fact that I value the bit driver much more highly than the short Philips of the Swiss Champ. It's a shame this has been retired though, as it seems to be one of the most useful SAKs...

Indeed.  You can still buy a very nice pre-owned Swisschamp for $20-30 if you shop wisely on ebay.  Try to do that with a CT41!  Granted, the Swisschamp has been around much longer, so it's a well-supplied market.

+1 on that!  I use the mag glass quite often so I go mostly with the Champ Plus now but I do have a CT34 that is need of a mod to add a mag glass to it! :)
