An astute observation

 Sitting messing with my Multi-tools. Mrs. D made a flip comment. Something about men & multi-tools paralleling women & their shoes. It got me to thinking about it. It's prolly just my own peculiar human nature. But I do match my multi-tools to my mood or what I'm doing. IE

Going out ( Being there is very little work involved, Apart from opening a bottle or two )
 Paralleled to dress shoes.
1. SAK
2. Skeletool

Working round the house.
Paralleled to Tennis Shoes
1. LM Wave
2. Vic Spirit X
3. Charge TTI

Going to work
Paralleled to work boots.
1. LM ST300
2. Victorinox SwissTool
3. SOG Power Lock.

Hunting & outdoor type stuff
Paralleled to Hunting boots
1. LM Mutt

My choice of Tool, depends on two things...
1. Venue
2.Mood

Does anyone else do this?
or Should I seek professional help immediately??

Not only do I do that, but my list is scarily close you yours, with the exception of the power lock and an ST200 rather than a ST300.  Mine doesn't depend on my mood as much, but venue and what I think I might encounter.

My "work" list is different since I work mostly in an office, and your "work" list is nearly the same as my "work around my property" list.  The CT34 is as perfect as it gets for IT carry in the office, with a full size plier MT as backup in my bag.

Er,yeh...I do it with SAKs as well as MTs :whistle:
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

Reminds me of a post I once read on another forum, which I'll paraphrase below.  (If the original author is around here, I hope he'll step up and take credit.)  Apologies in advance to our female members...

Wife nags husband about how many pocket knives he has, how expensive some are, how he is always changing his mind about which one(s) he will carry, sometimes carries more than one, etc.  Husband explains to wife that knives are "male pocket jewelry".  Wife easily relates to this analogy, and nagging stops.   :D
