Everything seems fine, solid, open well, excellent quality and all works perfectly. The scissors seem superb on initial test runs.

They look nice. Kinda Douk-Doukish in handle design.

Thanks, when I finished the lighthouse I had some little led light which I snuck up into the top and took a pic, I sent it to the manufacture and they even posted it on their page on Facebook..

I guess I never posted the other models I got for Xmas, I got the German gun, the Vespa, and the zeppelin, all the others I had but just need to be built, I cropped a pic of the minions and added it to the pic, I guess I should start working on one every once and a while to add them to the finished collection.. although I don’t think they will all fit, I think I’m going to need something bigger (again)

Those are awesome, guys.  I've seen some of them in the local hobby store.  Passed by because I was unsure of the actual difficulty of construction by an old grouchy guy with arthritis. 🙄

Waiting on a Gerber set to come in the mail when I saw this Gerber Curve in a local sporting goods store.   I had passed over them  a bunch of times but figured I'd take a shot and I'm kinda impressed by everything but the carabineer clip.
Gonna add it to my Gerber Dime and Shard ring.

There’s normally a scale on the back that shows the difficulty level, it’s more or less how small the pieces are going to be, normally you get two sheets, one might have only 30 pieces making it kinda easy, yet another might have 60 all cut on the same size two sheets making the pieces twice as small and harder to hold, unless you get a ICONX, there a little bit bigger and might have more then 2 sheets, but don’t forget there flat and you have to bend them into shape most work is done with a small pair of needle nose yet holding the piece at the same time, so pending on how bad the arthritis is, it’s kinda iffy, I have it and I can go some time without a problem depending on what the model requires, yet sometimes I’ll need a break! Unlike when I was wrapping grips for my hiking staffs, OMG I’d only make it minutes before having to put a clamp on it and shaking the hands!

Some needed replacements, another bit kit, and a little something to mod for the Signal.

One out of three (grouchy) applies to me...

If you want to try a Metal Earth model, I'd suggest going to their Web site and downloading instruction sheets. That will give you an idea of the difficulty of a particular model. The Boeing 747 wasn't terribly difficult for me. A good set of side-cutters is almost a necessity.

I'm kinda impressed by everything but the carabineer clip.
That was my thought as well; they seem to have hinged the wrong end of the clip. Other than that, it looks like an awl right little tool.

I'd bet you've already gotten to work on the Minions!  :D

A little something to mod for the Signal.
One can get replacement parts direct from Leatherman? If so, I see some Kick repairs and/or mods in my future!

If by replacement you mean consumables (bits, sheath, wire cutters, Surge's file and/or saw, some pocket clips, whistle/ferro rod, mini sharpener, strap cutting blade, carbon scrapers), then yes; sadly for knives, pliers, or any non removable tool or tool combo the only solution is warranty service.

A few new gets.  Still waiting on another Signal and a Wave.

Was surprised by how incredibly light the Benchmade Bugout mini was.  Really impressed with the Signal Topo and Skeletool Topo given they were from eBay.  The skeletool at least looks like someone used it occasionally, the Signal is basically brand new but for some slight discoloration on the blade.

Right then, finally took the time to take some decent pictures of the Christmas haul:

First things funded, or partially funded, by Christmas money:

Boker Wasabi, a double detent front flipper that partially devoured my finger at first but I've soon gotten that hang of it. Incredibly classy, a great slicer and a lot of fidget factor! Set off the start of a Boker and front flipper kick, Boker have started giving you very nice zippered knife pouches with multiple pockets and soft fleece interior, which is currently serving as my new pen case, bonus!

Rough Ryder Doctor's knives, I've been taken by the design (and concept) of Doctor's knives for a while and finally bit the bullet. These are a malachite and mother of pearl handle model that's true to the pattern, and a 'Pipe Doctor' that sports tobacco bone handles and a tamper tool instead of a spatula. They just came in today but I'm loving the form factor, classy looks, and having an additional tool in a traditional package:

Next up is a Boker Redox pen in brass, this uses Ethergraph (sp?) technology that apparently Da Vinci and the like used. Rather than ink, the metal nib leaves a trail of oxidization when in contact with paper. The result is a very pencil-like effect, that's fairly faint, but you can press to get it as dark as you like. This is a wonderful object to hold and look at, feels good in the hand and I've been having fun doodling and writing notes with it. I was on the fence about this, but now I have and like it, the Titanium model will likely be in my future at some point...:

Next is a lovely gift from our very own generous Surge  :hatsoff: A rugby stress ball, I've concealed the inappropriate side from those with better sensibilities, and a SOG Keytron. The SOG is nice and thin with a nice quick detach method intended for a key ring. I've personally used it to hang it from a belt loop with great success or just let it disappear into a pocket. The thin blade slices very well and it's UK legal, terrific little folder

Finally are gifts from my lovely missus, I'm keeping this to gear related gifts, though the backdrop is my ssmurfy new dice rolling surface/dice case.

First up is a fidget tool called the Scarab, made from Titanium (apart from the package opener) this is an addictive fighter that you slide the top part forwards with a satisfying click. It's very well made and feels great in hand, very pleasant to play with, but they even included some tool functions! The jaws function as a bottle opener, and the small black piece on the back is held on magnetically, the tip is sharp enough to work well as package opener, but not sharp enough to hurt yourself. We still need to find a UK supplier of tritium and UV cured adhesive, then this is going to be getting some fancy long exposure shots  :ahhh

She also got me some Olight gear, a new Obulb MCs with a motion sensor that allows it to act like a night light when charging, it came with a nice wall charger that gives you a magnetic Olight chargers and a USB port. I also got two OBuddies (the adorable astronaut body) for my Obulbs that I absolutely love and an orange i1R2 EOS to make it official that I'm now collecting different colour of them!

Also on preorder from the missus is a new Rovyvon model, it took my interest as it has a built in rechargeable battery (with USB C charging) but also allows you to put in a AAA cell alongside it. Made the gear geek and prepper in me take notice! That's expected to ship on the 15th of this month, but I've no idea how long it'll take to arrive.

Beena  very lucky chap this Christmas, spoiled by very generous people

My t-shirt came in, took a pic of both the front and back, there’s 424 names on there and I’m one of them!

Nice shirt.  It is both cool to have your name on a shirt, just sorry for the reason.  My brother also has epilepsy so I understand.

I have a couple similar for Childhood Cancer.  Fortunately I don’t know any of the names personally, I like to support and improve awareness.

Worksharp Field Sharpener. Man these are so tiny! I thought it would be twice as big! :ahhh
And a case to put it in.
Two belt pouches. These are beyond awesome.
And a wide mouth stainless water bottle, with nesting cup, fishmouth spreader, and pouch.

Well, my Gerber set came in yesterday.  I ordered this because of the Pledge knife.
I already have a Shard and Mini Paraframe.  Don't know if the Pledge is a Walmart exclusive or not but it's a pretty nice knife.   Feels great in hand and is sharp.

Now, I don't have anything on the way either. 🥺

Those little Olight rechargable lights are pretty powerful for what they are. I snagged one from Olight when they were giving those away for just shipping costs a little while back.

I just got a pair of all purpose shears from local Ace Hardware while picking up rock salt earlier today

A Leatherman Bolster arrived from AdamV.  For those not familiar the Bolster is a COSTCO exclusive model that is the same as a REV but it has a small serrated blade instead of the REV's package opener.

It is nice having a prepared kit, because then you can just pick-up and go rather than spending time getting everything together.

I have a young nephew that has started showing interest in bushcrafting. I’ve been finding a few different items and sending them to his mom.

Well it was suppose to be here yesterday and FedEx was even here for like 5min but never came to the door and just took off, the Mrs looked up the status and it said it was out for delivery, that was until last night and it said something wacky, so they came out again today and dropped it off, so I’ll probably be assembling it tomorrow then figuring how to sort the exercise room out to add it, but this would be my new toy..

Neat kit, RP; compact and quite complete!

Sorry for asking but, does the ratchet and bit kit fit into the injector body? I looked it up but can't find if it does. Thanks in advance. :hatsoff:
