I know it is not your knife. I was just providing some information on the maker.Your knife is very unusual.Someone may be able to provide more information on that style of knife soon.
That IS interesting I've seen machete that fold like that but never a fighter. What is the size of that thing? 6in folded to 12 open or bigger?By the apparent locking button on the scale and what looks like a cocking arm on the backspring side, is it an automatic? How does it lock open, the button or a bolster lock? That is a truly cool blade
Hopefully someone else here will have some useful infoWhat little I know on switchblades mostly comes from Jonathan "Shinza" who runs the 'exotic automatic' forum. He may know, if its still there. It was a dying a couple yrs ago, you can only get so far with zombie apocalypse and kids wanting to build assassin creed wrist knives.
You might have a big problem getting rid of it--automatics are illegal in many countries and US states forbid carry or ownership of switchblades. I have long been wanting a WWII US paratrooper's switchblade. There was even one for sale here for a great price and I didn't buy it solely because what I read on Virginia state knife laws (where I'm from) is a little murky on switchblades/automatics. One place says both ownership and carry is illegal, while one says just carrying them is. As a result, I've stayed away from them.
It gets more convoluted as well- while laws differ from state to state, I believe federal law restricts inter state transfer to military and law enforcement personnel only, so even if they are legal in the state you are in, and the state you are going to, it is still illegal to transport from one to the other.Def
A switchblade (also known as an automatic knife, pushbutton knife, ejector knife, switch, Sprenger,[1] Springer,[2][3] flick knife, or flick blade) is a type of knife with a folding or sliding blade contained in the handle which is opened automatically by a spring when a button, lever, or switch on the handle or bolster is activated
