Neat idea! I guess a 58mm saw probably isnt too practical.

That's the one thing I was thinking of, but figured it wasn't really feasible.

I'm thinking more of a V gouge kind of tool. Will start looking for pics...

Cuticle pusher would make a gouge chisel if sharpened, and maybe another blade as a pair to that.
Need to find a cuticle pusher to try.

Can't wait to see the end result.
Looks good so far and carving knives are fun.
When I worked in a cabinet shop I loved whittling offcuts.

Maybe a file.
I was just thinking of that but then the Awl came to mind.
Thanks,
Bob

I'm not too sure about a file.
The awl is there already.
A saw might be handy but don't know if possible to find one that small that works.
Maybe a pull knife out of the cotton picker / orange peeler and a u gouge chisel from the cuticle pusher. Both of which I don't have atm.

My brain is trying to figure out how to make the standard wood saw pivot in the center to fold in half. But I think it would be tool big still to fit. But... could it be done?
Oh you know whats probably more realistic but still useful. Small piece of a hacksaw blade. Small teeth could be used to make small cuts.

Ooh, if you do chose wood scales I'm thinking a truly dark Ebony or something with a black varnish. I love wood grain in black...
Good luck.

A hacksaw might be possible or maybe a scrollsaw and it could be used sideways TV make some texture.
Thanks Syph

I'm so embarrassed
Oh wait, how about a roll up wire saw using the keyring?
Thanks,
Bob

Put the 58mm file and reshape the tip to make a V like wood carving chisel.
