When ever I'm doing outdoor activities, I carry my Cold Steel Trailmaster (SK5).

Prepare for the worst and only the best will happen.

Yeah, the Candiru is a nice one. It's quite small too..and with the standard sheath doesn't even look like a knife..

Recently I have purchased Magnum Compact Rescue and Magnum Rescue Knife and I like both of them. Liner lock is present in the two of them and the special feature is the handles are made up of black anodized aluminium and I think it is ideal as money clip. The aluminium scales makes it more styling.

Today I helped a friend move out of her storage unit and she gave me this for my troubles.

Ontario Pilot Survival knife.   I am a big fan of these knives I think I like them better then my Camillus Fighting knife.

Very nice.  :tu:  Those Ontarios are great knives for sure.  Is that an original Mk2 in the bottom pic?

Very nice, Swiss Man! :tu:

Staying on topic (wait, what? ), I've actually got a fixed blade on me today.  Rare for me if I'm not in the woods, but this Izula II is the perfect size to give a try at work. :tu:

JD that is a nice knife. Will I go and trawl the web to find out out to get one in the UK?

I, uhm, accidentally forgot that I have a Buck Paklite skinner in my bag all week. And once I"m out of the office, my CRKT Dragon gets clipped to my belt at about 7 o'clock where I can reach it with either hand.

Steel is humanity, with all its pride and humility and hope and doubt and fear and faith. And while steel can control any of the four elements, to protect man and make them serve us, without man to protect the steel, the elements will destroy it. Steel is wisdom, and strength, and science, and magic. But without the hand of man to guide it, it is nothing.

"Carried" isn't quite the right word, but I was away with my family for a few days and this Marttiini Lapp came with us to act as an impromptu kitchen knife etc.

I usually have my Mora Classic 2 in my pocket on weekends when out in the yard. Handle fits my hand spectacularly.

Honestly, this knife fits my hand the best of any I have owned. Opinel comes close, but I really dig the barrel shaped handle, not to mention the blade profile. Up the hardness if the steel, make it fully flat ground, and possibly full tanged, and that might just be my perfect fixed blade.

Wont be much Mora left then ;)
