What it is, is there is a release/lock for when you have it inserted in the open position. I noticed when putting it in the sheath is not wide enough making the screw get caught on the edge of the sheath. I figured out you just have to depress the release and it should give it enough clearance to slide in.

Capt I was just kidding I didnt know it would fit open. So had to go fiddle with it and it works. Learned some thing new today.   :)

Who ever your gifting that to will be very happy. I know I would if I got that as a gift. Do you know who your gifting it to or are you just buying it for a future gift?

What's up with this 25mm/s marking? Somehow this is bugging me now, even if I have no Raptor, just saw it on this picture

Standard ECG (electrocardiography) printout speed is 25mm/s. I have no idea how that helps though...

Edit:

Looking at it a bit more i would guess you measure the bumps on the graph to get a time in milliseconds maybe.

I've been getting my money's worth out of mine. I open mail, packages and cut various things with it. Basically a heavy-duty pair of shears, it's extremely handy :tu:

Good for you Saw. I actually leave mine in my kit bag and use the OHT as my work EDC. The pliers, main blade and 02 wrench I use the most and use a separate set of shears.

Joints only, or also bone? he asked in an attempt to drive the squeamish out of this thread.  ;)

At the joint and small bones. I like to cut the back bone right out. Flatten the chicken, cover with mexican spices then char bake on the BBQ with the lid down.
