You want this:

I suppose.
The scissors out of a
PST II
Wave found their way into a Sideclip.

Bang on the money Thomas!
@ kris77: If you can sorce the scissors from a PST2/original Wave, they'd be a more natural fit. PM me if you have any questions as to how to do it.

I think I have some scissors from a Wave some where in the shop. They must be in the vintage box.
Why stop now?

Would a PST II with an add on clip meet your requirements ? (would be a lot easier to do).

i think the sideclipis one of the best designed leatherman tools. its light, thin and has a pocket clip on the right side ;-), and i leike the classic look of it very much. for me the tool configuration is almost perfect, exept the missing scissors, and maybe the long thin flat screwdriver of a pst/pstII would be also great to fit in a sideclip. would it be possible and easy to put scissors from an pstII / old wave in it, without further grinding and tinkering? if so i could do it probably myself. otherways i would need somebodys help...
could you spare me a pair of scissors metro? that would be great, maybe we sort details via pm...
thanks to anyone for reading and answering my request.

PST parts will drop straight in like Lego bricks mate
Even the new Wave scissors fit without problem, but lock at an obtuse angle.

@ kirk13: have you already put in the smaller flat screwdriver in your modded sideclip. i just have seen that you had the exact some thoughts on modding a sideclip: scissors, srewdriver!? what´s next?

update and fail:
after i tried and failed some month ago, i finally i sat down again and tried to put in the old wave scissors i got vom eric into my sideclip. but either way i try the little spring doesn´t get enough tension to keep the scissors open. i give up.
i guess the smaller levers of the sideclip are to weak... so i am looking for modern leatherman scissors (charge, wave, fuse etc) to try those.
any suggestions or questions?
if anyone wants some original wave scissors, i will be glad to pass them on, as i have no use for them....
thank you
