Today I received the Mini-D suspension system I won in the GAW Gamble organised here on MTO. The initial impression of the amount of items the developers kit contained left me a bit baffled about which items I would use, but I gave it a go and tried to build something I could find usefull.
After a lot of fiddling, thinking, more fiddling and more thinking, I can say I still am not finished with the Mini-D. The developers kit is a gem though, I first thought to use the Mini-D for my key ring, but I believe it's intent is not that. It is not a keyring dangler, it is a multi item dangler. The nice thing of the kit is the multitude of split rings, so I did upgrade all small split rings on my keyring with the ones from the developers kit. By the way, the split ring pliers in the kit is great, it makes it very easy to handle even the smallest split rings. Clearly Gamble gave the whole thing a lot of thought.
But, I had to take 2 TEC Python clips from my keyring to add to the Mini-D for the purpose I wanted it to be used, so I still need to rethink my keyring, or get 2 extra Pythons. The end result is I use the Mini-D for my Pioneer, and for my light. The keyring will stay on the Pickpocket.

Al lot of parts in the kit, sooo many possibilities...

Clipped in my jeans, hangs just right

Overall very happy with Gamble's Mini-D system. Thanks again Gamble for the GAW, and MTO for just beiing a great place!
