pouch for a Surge
on:
June 02, 2014, 09:07:56 PM
Greetings,
Been lurking and learing for a few weeks now and now I have a question.
I am looking for a black, basketweave belt pouch that will fit a 2 1/4" Sam Brown belt for my new Surge.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Check out Eric at skinthsolutions.com the owner is a member here and a heck of a good dude. He does amazing work, there is really nothing this guy can't do. He is supposed to be shipping me one of his creations today. He goes by metropolicity just shoot him a pm or check out his site. I believe something in the shield series is what you are looking for.

Hi and welcome
I'm guessing your in the UK? I've seen leather pouches similar to what your describing on eBay. But MGill is bang on recommending Skinths. In the unlikely event there isn't a stock one to fit your belt,Eric can do custom jobs too
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Sam Brown belts are generally made of leather. The basket weave,to which the OP refers,is a pattern that is crafted on leather.
I would look to Safariland or Bianchi products. They've been manufacturing basket weave leather products, that fit Sam Brown belts, for decades.

I've also seen some freaking sweet leather surge cases on eBay just do a search on there and it should pop up.
But again metro is gonna be your best bet for sure.

We have a member that has done leather sheaths Ladroza is his user name. I also have seen some very nice work from Leodis Leather, Ian Atkinson on youtube. Good luck on finding the sheath you want. I don't know either of these fellows I have just seen some of their work and its quite lovely.
