Although I didn't get to go out on the boat yesterday I did this afternoon We headed straight out about 8 mile to the notorious Haisbro ( Happisburgh) sands .Many ships have been wrecked off there in days gone past and also more recently http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfolk/7186608.stm I took a pic of Mid Haisbro buoy but couldnt take any more after that as things got a bit swelly I was doing radio/Nav and we had to pick our way through using the depth finder in 2 - 3 metre swell . Over the sands we saw a few waves turn into tunnels but stayed away from them Conditions werent too bad and minimum depth in the channels we kept to were about 2 meters . Wouldnt want to do it without a chartplotter though as the idea is to go round them and not over them  (Image removed from quote.)Dunc
Nice pic dunc A quick question, how far out are you "contracted" to go out to, i.e. when do you have to call the big boat out?
