I never could have imagined I was going to use my MT for this.

There is a girl at work that had a piercing in her bellybutton for 10 years now, butt she have been wanting to take it out for some time. Butt the little balls at the end was stuck and she could not get it of, she been to piercing studios butt they could not twist it of either.

So the genius I am, I asked why they had not cut it right of. She simply replied “Why hadn’t they thought about it?”.
She was thinking out loud when she was going to do it, and eager to use my new Powerlock, I offered to do it for her. So she laid down on the sofa in the office and I went too work. Was a little bit worried that the gears where going to pinch her (have the old Powerlock) butt it turned out not to bee a problem, so after 2 or 3 seconds of squeezing it was cut right of. Didn’t use much force at all, don’t know what the piercing was made of butt the piercing was cheap according to her.

I just regret that this wasn’t caught on tape, would have made a killer video here.

So, removing piercings with a MT? No problem.

I like that story. PowerLock to the rescue!  :multi:

Give the term"toolporn" a whole new meaning ::)
"Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall;
 Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
 And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169

I used a multi-tool to help a girl get her belly button ring out but I just used the pliers to grab the little ball and unscrew it. Not nearly as glamorous as cutting through it though. That's hard core man!!!  :D :D

My mother in law lives with us but for the last couple of months she's had health issues so she was staying in Kansas City with her sister because her Dr is up there. She left her car here so my wife has been driving it since it gets good mileage. Anyway, my mother in law comes back today and one the 1st of things she notices is that her car's license plates are expired. My wife said she went and took care of that, then it hit her. The new license plates are under the front seat. After getting the new plates she stuck them under there and forgot about them.  ??? ???

So the moral of the story is I used my Fieldmaster to take off the expired plates(expired in March) and put the new ones on. She's been driving the last 2 months with expired plates.  :o Thankfully she was never noticed by the cops.

I have another SAK tale today too. I went to Wal-Mart and when I went to start crossing things off the list I had already put in the cart I noticed I'd forgotten to bring a pen. But not to fear, my Fieldmaster has PLUS scales so that little problem was soon solved. Soon after that the big blade on my Fieldmaster made quick work of the peppered baked chicken I had for supper. Then I used the toothpick to clean my teeth.

I LOVE my Fieldmaster.  :drool: :drool:

I've lost count of the number of times I've had to do that with my Leatherman

I shot off a bunch of fireworks yesterday. I used the small blade on my Fieldmaster to open them all, cut the plastic tape off of the fuses and used the awl to poke a fuse back into one that had come undone. Another guy shooting them off with me had an old Leatherman tool but it was dull. Mine wasn't.
