The big and beautiful part of the collection is in wall cabinets.
For the storage of the other knives I build those wooden case:
Fit into a simple IKEA frame with glass door.

Many thanks to for all compliments. I am glad other also like.  :)

But this knifes and cases are not the core of my collection.

I wanted to show only this store system because it is simply to be built for every shelves.
If one a collection nicely keeps and presents, the joy also grows in it. (IMO)

@ Rodrigo: It is difficult to present even more nicely alox knifes than how in your showcase.  :2tu:

Here's my humble submission.  I found a display case maker online a number of years ago and got 5 display cases from them.  Three thin ones for my 58s.  One medium for Spartans and larger alox, and then one big one for the thicker knives.  They're filled with foam and then have a green velvet cover.  Just rest the knives in there and close the lid to "press" them into place.  Also got a crate to stack/store the display cases in.

For "over flow" knives that don't make it to a display case, I got a ArtBin cheap from an outlet store because the lower back was cracked.  This is a GREAT case for SAKs.  Three slide out cases with adjustable compartment sizes for the knives, and then an bigger open space on the top for larger items.

When I started a few months ago, I kept my Victorinox knives in a converted artist's paint box with my other EDC gear, like flash lights, binoculars, hip flask, Zippo, Moleskine note pad and the like. Just two Vics back then!

All this really does go in...

to this case...

But it's now full and the collection is growing...

So I strengthened another wooden case with aluminium extrusion and plate and lined it  with foam and vinyl...

And I can get a few more in...

But there are 4 more Wengers coming in a couple of days, so gotta keep looking for a solution!
