The sparky is left handed? 

And Gareth too but apparently shoots the "wrong way" around. We have weirdly high percentage of southpaws here on MTO, actually. We did a poll some time ago.

Very true.  You can blame my dad for teaching me to shoot 'off handed'.   Frankly if I put a rifle up to my left shoulder it  feels utterly unnatural, however I do hold a pistol in my left hand.  I also play two handed bat games (cricket, baseball etc) as a righty, but play one handed racquet game as a lefty.  Yes, I am a little confused too.

I shoot off the left but otherwise we are the same. I play darts and table tennis equally with both. I'll surfcast with the right and flycast with the left. I throw and catch better with the right and play kendama better with the left.

there was a long conversation about 'loony lefties' and how they tend to be more ambidextrous than us 'normal folk' because they often get bullied/taught to do things by well meaning 'Righties'

*I need to share this on the forum ~ the first rule of  is "no politics or religion" yes ?
so under wet canvas, face to face and armed to the teeth, an ALCOHOL fuelled debate raged till after 2am, but without bloodshed (there were a few bloodshot eyes in the morning mind )
just proves some people can be adults eh ?

Nah, I prefer to tell folks they're wrong one at a time. To start a poll and then tell the majority they're wrong would just be rude and arrogant

Taxi Dad and I did have haggis for lunch on the Saturday.

I cut some spam into slices about 1/4 to 1/2" thich and fried them and put it on fresh french bread with american cheese and it was AMAZING!
