It's Moving Day!!!

It's moving day tomorrow for me and my family - we're off to Bath for an exciting new job opp for me. I forgot how much I hate moving...

   Good luck! I visited the UK 14 years ago as an exchange student and Bath was one of my favorite places that I visited. That was a lovely town!

Wow MadPlumbarian - I can't beat that! This is the 10th move in 16 years.

My Sak de Choice is my Tom Sawyer and has been brilliant for everything so far - I have even used the bit adaptor extension to dismantle furniture etc.

We packed the van last night (the hire firm gave it to us early which helped out a lot) but it's a scorching day here in the South West so hydration is important.

The hard part is over - 4 flights of stairs in our apartment block!

Anyway - thanks everyone for your best wishes - our interweb should be back up on the 18th so I'll look forward to all the MT goodness to catch up on.

throughout my whole life I've moved every 1-3 years... up until now, I've now been in the same place for 10 years and it's great (although there are things we dislike about this place, I'm not overly keen on the idea of moving yet again.)
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

We've got a move due some time towards the end of the year.  We've been in our current place for 10+ years so you can imagine just how much stuff is imbedded here. :-\
